Had a bit of a sweet tooth today -yes, again! I need a little something sweet each day, I admit it. For some reason I was craving churros so I made these little cinnamon rings –Cinna-rings, from puff-pastry and cinnamon sugar to satisfy my sweet tooth!
Oh yeah! This turned out to be one of my best ideas eva! Everyone yummed as they popped these little sweet and flaky bites into their mouths, licked their fingers and followed each bite with a milk shooter!
These are a perfect little treat and only take 10 minutes to make! You’re Welcome! or, I’m Sorry!….not sure which cause these are super addictive and you just may need them everyday for the rest of your life!

So without further ado, the recipe…. it’s so simple that you will laugh-out-loud (lol).
| Cinna-rings! |
- Ready-made, puff-pastry sheets
- Melted butter
- Cinnamon sugar
- Brush pastry sheet with melted butter and fold over on itself once. Cut small rings out of sheet with a cookie cutter (a star shape would be so cute too!) Using a smaller ring, cut the middle out of the larger ring to simulate a donut. Continue this way making as many as you like. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 200C or 400F til nicely browned. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then brush with melted butter and toss in cinnamon sugar.

I’m going to try these for sure! I thought the recipe would involve yeast dough, frying, etc.
but only three ingredients? Awesome!!
Enjoy! I did!
Oh my goodness! These look yummy! And easy (my favorite kind of recipe). I made some homemade puff pastry a few days ago and I can’t wait to try these delightful little morsels. My diet was blown just looking at them!
Stephanie @ It’s not just about the recipe . . . . wants to share….What’s in the oven? Whoopie Pies ala Chuck Hughes!
sorry can’t say these are diet friendly, but they are worth the spurge! nice thing is they are only small…so not too much damage done.
