Today I managed to get this blog up about herbs…I thought just photos would be quick but -not so much! It was a real learning curve and took me waaay longer than it should have. Oh well, at least I am learning something new everyday.
I still have a few ‘tweaks’ to do to get the blog looking good…I will have to learn a few new skills first though. So when you see or find something that isn’t looking or working well, you’ll know why!
Speaking of ‘tweaks’, or ‘twits’ in my case, I tried to log onto my Twitter account to ”tweet’ something but that didn’t go well. I have logged onto nearly a dozen different sites and had to memorise that many passwords and email address’ that I couldn’t remember my Twitter password or email.
I was then diverted to the crazy, mixed-up, scrambled, blurred and non-sensical word and number log in ‘thing-y’ to sign in. Yeah, that’s a good sign. Not.
I couldn’t read any of the ‘words’ so I just kept clicking, clicking and clicking, looking for the next suggestion that might be legible. After a couple dozen attempts I thought I would try the voice icon to listen to the words. That’s waaay easy, right?
Have you ever listened to that? WHAT is that all about? I can hear the voice of a lady, who sounds like she is at some crazy party, shouting words out to me. I can barely hear her over the happy party goers and I am supposed to type in the words I hear her shouting. Seriously? A drunk lady at a party? This is going VERY badly!
What if you’re a terrible speller like me? I couldn’t spell ‘scissors’ fast enough to keep up with the shouting drunk lady. So in the end, after a dozen or so fails, they locked me out!
The only reason I even thought about tweeting is because the blog template I am using needs some input in that space! I don’t even have any followers on Twitter! So no tweets today, sorry world -I’m a bit of a twit!
I did manage to get a Pinterest showcase added on the sidebar! I love, love that!! Make sure you click on ‘Follow me on Pinterest”. I have to admit to spending many, many hours perusing Pinterest before KT’s bridal shower and wedding. It is an amazing source of ideas and great eye candy for people like me!
It is fun to see this site coming together and hear words of support from you all! I have a few peeps working on little somethings they are going to share with us, can’t wait. -C
